Need help setting default privs and spawn

Default privs:
To apply immediately: use command "/set default_privs shout,fast,whatever"
To make permanent: add "default_privs = shout,fast,whatever" to your minetest.conf

Spawn:
To apply immediately: F5 to get coords, then use command "/set static_spawnpoint x,y,z"
To make permanent: add "static_spawnpoint = x,y,z" to your minetest.conf

I did that and didnt work

To explain those commands:

Windows doesn't know where minetest.exe is so you have to tell it.
You have it in Documents\minetest(something)\minetest(something)\bin
You use "cd" to change to the folder you have minetest in; you can use the Tab key to autocomplete the folder name so you don't have to type the entire thing.

Now you are in the same folder as the minetest.exe program; run it and tell it to be a server with the option "--server".

Oh right, fixed. The program is called minetestserver on Linux, which is what I'm used to.
