Is SSE2 needed for server, client, both or what?

Ahoy, i want to run little private server, but i need to know if server can be run on machine without SSE2 processor. I have only one pc that have SSE2.

All of it. SSE2 is a Pentium 4 and above.

Dunno how one would remove SSE2 though.

My image and media server is back online and is functioning as normal.

Minetest itself doesn't require SSE2, some builds do. You can always recompile it yourself so it doesn't require SSE2.
