Perhaps it's time to store player data in a database like map data? Even rather small servers seem to accumulate lots of players over time.

I believe the server upgrade to 0.4.8 was a success. However, due to my low frame rate (about 3 much of the time), I won't be on often to see the bugs. If you experience an issue, let me know via email <0gb.us@0gb.us> or IRC <#minetest@chat.freenode.net>.

It's still running but the server is really messy. Also you sure you want to turn down me and Boris' offer for a role in our Kid friendly fan fiction?
