At any rate, the move from Hetzner to OVH is complete, and OVH has actual DDoS protection, unlike Hetzner's method of basically disconnecting the server.

I don't know if it was codybruce doing this, but I do know that several other Minetest-related servers were affected, as well as that the attackers appear to be based in Taiwan.

There should be instructions on the rules signs in the spawn. Are they not working?

(also, you should be able to use the /spawn command to go there if it teleported you to 0,0,0 for some reason, which does happen sometimes)

Early this morning i joined for the first time. I typed in the magic word and nothing happened. I hope i typed in the correct magic word. I believe it read that it was case sensitive. As to the green signs: I believe the bottom of the messages on each green sign is cut off.

I just tryed logging in again just now and it appeared like i was stuck in the clouds and couldn't move. I logged out and back in 1 more time and then everything was working properly. I typed in the magic word and it dropped me down to street level. So it is working now.

That's probably the bug where the server sometimes "drops" clients right after they log in. Good to hear it's working now, at any rate.

Unfortunately, it seems that the damage was done before the rollback fixes, so there's nothing in the logs. I can try contacting VanessaE and asking if she has an older copy of the map from before the damage occurred, in which case we would be able to replace the building with an undamaged copy.

Many buildings have been griefed. I think we should make it so you have to ask for interact on the forums, like we used to.

Rollback has been fixed, at least, so any future griefing can be easily repaired.

VE-Creative is running really REALLY slow as of couple of days now. Placing gravel and waiting for a while for it to fall and fill up a space. Today the world is taking a really LONG time loading for some reason.

Seems the vines are up to their mischievous ways again. Now they destroy nodes close by when they decay. I noticed it when some mature-jungle-vines ate my pergola.

Place a node on some surface and attach a vine to a side. When you dig the vine it will punch a hole in the surface beneath it. Cheapie has also seen the effect.

Well the force fields are down... another disturbing trend is emerging... a rapidly growing crop of Sequia trees being grown in midair above VE-creative. Currently on the west side of the map, it has been spreading a lot since I first noticed them when we dealt with the turning off the force fields.

This is going to be a real mess to clean up.

Didn't take too much to clean up, probably less than it took to build the mess. Banned the offending user, as well.

I haven't updated mods (or the server build) in quite a while, not planning to any time soon since things are generally stable, so I don't know if this has already been fixed. @webdesigner97 opinions?
