How do i make a multiplayer account?

By Inputting any name and any password and joining a server.

Once you join that server, you must use that SAME NAME AND PASSWORD if you want to get back in.

Also, how can i make a local game. For me and my brother to play?

Multiplayer accounts are not global in minetest.Every server has got its own database of accounts,so you need to register for every server you join.

Are you using windows 7? If not I cannot help you, sorry buddy...
