FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Could someone tell me how to make a server, if best, a 24/7 server. I have read the topic on making servers on the wiki, but i don't understand. I need like a "Minetest Servers for Dummies". I would appreciate some help. Thanks.

There are many server creation guides around, see the Servers section. Creating a 24/7 server requires your PC to be on 24/7 (personally, I wouldn't do that).

I think that i will use Remobo for the server.

Don't: instead, use proper port forwarding. It's not that hard if you got a decent router.
