In the most cases server_address must be left empty

.. How do I use this? I'm going to set up a skyblock server where everyone works on a single skyblock. Also, How would I change the server so that it connects to my public ip? So far, it only connects to the local ip 192.168.1.100, instead of 75.81.146.243

The config options you mentioned would need to go into your minetest.conf file. Also, if you're using server_announce then you need to have curl enabled in your build (if you're on linux then build minetest with curl installed and enabled, for windows you could use a build from here http://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=4547).

To allow people to connect to your server from the public IP then you need to do some port forwarding; go to your router's control panel at http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.1.1/ and port forward 30000 to your local IP. Note that you still might not be able to use your public IP to connect to your server from within your local network.

It says: Oops! google chrome cant connect to 192.168.0.1
EDIT: oops.. router's control panel, but how would I get to that? Thank you for answering.

Try http://192.168.2.1/

The server is up, but first time connections take a LONG time XD. Probably low broadband. Otherwise, It's very fast. Screenshots soon!

There was a recent map restart because of some griefers.

Like today, you shut it down at 7:20 for me, 10:20 for you.

Why did the server shut down just now Rancon? I need to think of the best stone generator possible, cause the old/new one i built is kinda hard to mine with a mese pick.

I just noticed that my typing looks slot better on my iPad than my computer, I just realized it's because the iPad has auto caps and auto spelling.

Keep an eye out for connor or ANY griefers. He destroyed krist's mall, griefed minetestian's arena, destroyed the farms, and committed suicide to lose all the items. I can't find his bones and he left before I could ban him. And there are pits in the platform. You griefers will lose this battle! D:<

You should get the IRC mod rancon, so I can chat on your server off my iPad.
And you should try to get technic working, the machines are REALLY cool.
Hopefully we can ban all the griefers before they can grief to much.

KOD, sorry.. I didn't noticed that you were falling because I was afk.. It should be fixed. I modified the player files so now, you should be still on the island. Out of curiosity.. why did you dig a hole in your house?

If anyone sees him on another server, let him know.

EDIT: NVM.... You need to be manually teleported in order for you to reach the mainland. The file editing doesn't work.
