i dont understand this...minetest.exe --server --worldname server

make a txt file. write minetest.exe --server --worldname server. with the worldname changed into the name of the world, then name the file to minetestserver and change it into a .bat file. You following me?

i did all of that but my server is not on the server list.

You have to put the server's name onto Minetest.net or something, i'm not sure.

You go to bin, hold shift and rightclick (not on a file) and click open command prompt here ore something like that. type minetest.exe --server --worldname (worldname) without the parenthesis

so i make a shortcut to minetest but name it minetest.exe --server --(worldname)

i typed minetest.exe --server --worldname (myworldname) and i think it worked, it ran all the code u would normally see for a minetest singleplayer server and then at the end it said announcing to servers.minetest.net but now what do i do? i dont see it on the server list and how do i put it up so others can play?

it did not work if i didnt click on a file it just went to stuff to customize the folder
