There appears to be a problem with the shared chest, when i tried to use one today, it shutdown the server couple of times when closing the chest inventory.
EDIT: The same thing happens to a letter too

Ummm I'm not sure. Everyone else seems to be able to connect...

Hey Craig, I don't remember the policy on abandoned buildings, but I am going to be off for a while (computer broke), so please don't give away my stuff.

I'm sorry I haven't been on in a while but I'm having a problem on my end with connecting I'm going to try again today and see if I can connect but no promises.

It should be fine, abandoned buildings do not often get removed.

Just a quick note to THANK everyone who is donating cobble for Bob's Mega Project.

Can you post a download of the world, please? I like server but am going to be without internet, and want to play around with the world.

I have a problem. When cutey tried to pay me 200, the server crashed. It did this twice.

Make sure you used the correct name and used the command correctly.

Just throwing this out there, I am trying to start a little survival village a descent distance from the spawn. You may build there if you wish, just don't take up ALL the room. Stores, houses anything is welcome. All there currently is is my itty bitty shack and some gravel ruins. Here are the coordinates if you would like to settle there.

Hey guys. I used to play on this server all the time, But after the server went down a while ago, I couldn"t play on it for some reason. I still have Bandswith so that's not the issue. Basically when I try to log on, The "Media" section doesn't load at all :'(

Hi PerterPanda, did you try unchecking the option "preload item visuals" in the settings?

Try disabling "preload item visuals" as Gabo suggested. Also, you may need a more recent minetest version, try again with version 0.4.9.

Thanks Craig! Is there any fast way of traveling between an area I'm building in and the shops near Spawnpoint? Would like to build something big, but need credits to claim a fitting area...

You can use /home to get to your building and /spawn to get close to the shops near spawn.

Travelnets are also a very good way to travel to and from places, more information here.

I use the version 0.4.9 but still get a "your clients version may not be fully compatible with this server". What am I missing? Should I remove/install some mods to become fully compatible?

Edit: nevermind that, compiled the 0.4.9-dev version and error message is gone.

I wonder if it's possible to download and upload buildings? Building something offline and uploading it onto a server later.

Well I'd consider that cheating, personally. It is possible for me to extract certain buildings from the server and make them possible to use offline, but not vice-versa, I'll work on making a few buildings available for download soon hopefully.

yeah, that is kind of in the grey zone. My question arose seeing how the server is down and I'm really into building my stuff right now :D

craig i finally mange to join the server after a whooping Half and hour wait BUT there's a problem my entire inventory is out my interaction privilege is gone i am pretty sure i had used the same user name bajenhgk but i lost my diamond block please i lost everything EVERYTHING

To load the server faster just disable "preload item visuals" in the settings.
You were probably using the wrong account, make sure you join with "bajanhgk".

I'm placing some stairs made of concrete. Normally they turn out white. But one of them becomes grey upon placement. Shadows and material underneath don't seem to cause this, because I removed stuff obstructing the one grey stair and also tried out changing the materials around it.
