Dear Minetest Community.

Me and my brother (on the same network) would like to set up a 2 player minetest server.
is there a way to use a server between the two desktop computers without using bandwidth monitored by our isp. thanks

Sure.
Open a world using the advanced tab and find out your (local) IP and connect to it.

You're playing locally, so it is not using any Internet bandwidth. If you played through the Internet, it would still use little bandwidth.

Which IP address are you connecting to?
