Hi, I leave my server on at my house even while I'm not playing. I started the client this morning to find that parts of my house were destroyed. Is it possible someone griefed me and found my server? Or I installed sethome so maybe that has something to do with it. Also got alot of mods working that didn't have problems in the past. Is is possible that one of the mob characters found my home after sethome and destroyed it? I will let you know if anything else is destoyed. There was even water in the house!
Good Grief

Please check if your name ingame is "singleplayer" or something else. If it's singleplayer, it's a local game with no other players. You can also check for files in the players folder to see if there are any unwanted guests around.

Some mobs do indeed destroy blocks. Dungeon masters of both simple mobs and mobf are known for that behaviour. Which mods do you have installed?

No unwanted players in the players files.
Mods I have that seem relevant:
mobf, mob_slime, mob_shark (hey, there's water in there) , animal_rat, animal creeper,animal_big_red .

AFAIK only the dungeon master can destroy nodes. Some other mobs throw fireballs which might be harmful to a house if fire is enabled.

None of the mobs "knows" about your home position. The server knows where you are, and the mobs mods spawn mobs in the areas that got loaded (i.e. by players beeing there).

Perhaps you ought to do a screenshot of the damage (press F12) and post it?

I think animal creeper blows up and destroys blocks

I think it might be the red ball that explodes. Don't know how there is water though.

Hmm, that looks like something mapgen did. At this point, I must ask the obvious question; what version of Minetest are you using?

I am using 0.4.9.
Yesterday I noticed a door had moved one node.

Yes!

So I think that it was playing singleplayer while the server was running with ./minetestserver. It think this is the lesson and nothing has really happened since.
Thanks for your help,
