We are using Ambiance Server Lite so it doesnt have music and all the audio files are compressed... If you have a good internet connection then Xanadu wont take long to connect and store files for future connections...

I've connected to it even with a 384 KB/sec bandwidth, Xanadu is very friendly - both players and software/resources.

you have to get the url for the image itself ending in .jpg .png or .gif and place it between IMG quites by clicking the little photo while editing your message, only then will your picture appear...

Thanx Ten. Didn't know that. thought it took some time to update



As you can see, the server only shows the area where one just walked. Is there a command to force the server to update everything in your viewpoint??

Btw https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=3679 could help in this problem, u may need to reconfigure tons of protected areas though:

That is a Minetest feature. Before I take a screenie, I walk around the subject area, and also tinker with the viewpoint.

The Xanadu Space Station, at (0, 200, -1656). Take the road south of spawn to reach the ladder into the cargo decks

The Xanadu Snow Globe, at (-560, 30, -70). Take the Spawn Rail Station (just south of spawn) to the first rail station. Go through the transit lounge, into fresh air, and up.

Updated the 3D_Armor mod and also HUD so if amor disappears pop into the inventory screen and click on shield, remove and replace each part so it works again...

Flake: If you want to post an image on forum, use Snaggy Paste images. Its easy to use and you can edit your image/screenshots on it.

the armor dropping when you die was a terrible idea. seriously, ppl are afraid to even wear them now.other than that exellent server

I was thinking that death could cause significant damage to armor instead.

Hmm, it's a survival server, so probably that armor loss is to be expected. On the other hand...there are a lot of beautiful materials to build with...And I still think that my apartment mod ought to get added so that everyone can have a couple of locked chests close to spawn. People need to collect enough stuff in order to be able to build something that looks well. Houses do consume a lot of material.

Server downtime has been increasing over the past few days =/

For example, now.

Storms in the local area will cause the server to be closed until it has passed, Wes doesn't wanna take any chance with his equipment being damaged by lightning strike...

Oh dear, I hope Wes is alright. The storms have been particularly deadly this year - I live in the north, and yet we feel its effects.
