Hi,
After playing for sometime with Minetest my kids at home and their friend at school always ask about having a more permanent setup even though they appreciated the convenience of setting up a temporary one with the GUI "server" tab.
Since I use mostly Debian and some derivatives, I starte documenting this on the wiki: Setting up a server: Debian.
After a couple of days testing this setup the kids are already asking to have default permissions (fly mode!) and more, but the basic setup works as expected. In Debian there are other pre=packaged mods and tips, so I expect to expand that document information sooner than later.
Any comments/suggestions are welcome.
