Server console

Morning everyone ,

I was wondering if there is a way to get a console on the server like you have when you are connected with a character and press F10.

I need a console on my server many times to do admin commands or send messages to players etc.
But on the server I only see the activity but no console where I can enter commands.

Is there a way to get this that I missed ? Or is there no console implemented for server ?

Use an account with server provileges, then you can do that over Minetest GUI.

Is that the only way ?
My player account do have that privilege , but I don't always have the time to first connect to the server
and wait for the long load time when I quickly just want to do or check something.

Another way is to use the IRC mod: https://github.com/kaeza/minetest-irc

That way you can login to the server using IRC (once you grant yourself or a special player/account irc_admin) and do stuff that way.

No, you need a Minetest client to input any commands.
