Hello and server questions...

by MykieDoesStuff » Sat Aug 16, 2014 02:57

Hi everyone this is my first post on this site. Anyway how would I make the server using other hosting site which as Google Drive or ooowebhosting.com ... I've done some hosting with Google and it has been excellent for me and now I'm wondering to host this game server on Google site. I'm assuming I need to make some config files so when I upload the server files to Google, it would run automatically. Any suggestion or help here? Please excuse my bad grammar and spelling, I'm on kindle and limited time now. Going on vacation for 2-3 weeks and if I'm lucky to get connection there that's great.

You can't make that, Minetest isn't on the port 80 (HTTP) !

You need a computer/VM/dedicated hosting and, you need also to be able to open and forward the UDP port 30000 (it's the minetest port) to your minetest-server
