Hi!

I used this mod again in a new video (posted earlier today) which I now took down because of a copyright notice from a company named PRS CS who apparently owns Faraway (one of the songs in the mod) and because I didn't know whether or not they actually owned the song I took it down.

Could there possibly be a non-music version please?

I recommend using (and only using) free songs in the ambience mod, Neuromancer. Don't use anything that is of commercial origin. Doing so is like messing with a bald-faced hornet nest...

The first post in this mod has a "Super Fast Load Immersive Sounds Mod" link that has no music. I'll have to talk to Amethystium again and make sure he didn't sell the rights to his music to some company. He definitely said I could use it. You can see his initial agreement in the license file.

Edit: Here's the new verbiage he asked me to use.

He is researching the issue and would like me to forward with any info we have on this "copyright claim" and what the notification said. He needs to address that if it truly refers to "Faraway".

Love love. Much love. Thank you thank you.

Having sounds more or less as 3d reference for the objects making the sounds is great. Better games these days support surround sound that can be invaluable if you are listening for the tell tale sounds of someone coming up from a blind spot. I guess that's me saying I support some of the suggestions I have seen about possible future improvements.

But just having SOME ATMOSPHERIC SOUNDS makes the entire universe better imho.

Nice mod jp. Only problem is that some sound are cut off or just sound cut off.

They are not permanents, and the sound durations are the same as in the original mod.

It's normal, it's a light-speed version for servers. There are no music. Only the natural sounds ;)

The complete version have the musics and it weights almost 10MB. Unthinkable for a server...

I added the sounds of ambience mods to my soundpack folder some time ago and I'm able to hear the music of technic's music boxes on servers with the technic mod.

I think there's no full version, just try them out and choose what you want.
I forked the mod and changed a bit. I didn't change much on the mod yet.
