This mod is based on another compost mod. The original author suggested (here) that I release my changes separately. Hence this topic.
Mod details
Compost bins turn organic matter like leaves, flowers, grass etc into soil.
Crafting a composting bin requires 6 pieces of any wood and a wooden slab. An empty compost bin looks like a hollow block of wood. To operate the bin, right- or left-click it. Right-clicking a compost opens a menu: eight slots for organic inputs and one slot for soil. To compost your leaves, flowers and grasses (not food), place them into the input slots. Alternatively, punch (left-click) the bin with something compostable. As soon as there are 8 items inside, the process begins. It takes 5 minutes to produce one block of soil. To see composting progress, just point at the bin. The result of composting is normal dirt. To take it from the bin, right-click and move it into your inventory or, alternatively, punch the bin with a bare hand.
Composting might be very useful in dirtless worlds and in hostile biomes. It can also be a good educational tool in promoting environmental awareness, ecology and recycling.

Credit for the idea goes to cd2, whose work was used as a basis. Current functionality was inspired by comments (from Diamond knight, veikk0, Martno, Don et al.) in his topic. Thank you all!
P.S.: My first mod.
