So i made a big place for plants, and i wait since all plants grow.

When i harvest Cotton , an avarage one of three plants give me a seed and string, so it is OK.

But when i harvest pumpkin or wheat, i didn`t get anything :/

I`we deleted the mod and downloaded it one more time , and it wokrs.
So I`m sory. It seems that the problem was between my chair and keyboard :D

I got better problem xD
Im trying to make farm... blah blah blah but when i put dirt in water (from every side of dirt is water), then it stay still dry... around 1-2 dirts @ my farm are only wet...

@Down I know, so i got many soils which dont wanna become wet ;)

You need to craft a hoe and punch the dirt with it to make it to soil. Then the soil can get wet.

PilzAdam, can you make weed disapear when you harvest it? Weed seems to be taking up space in my chests.

Weeds can be used as furnace fuel.


Is there any use for potatos? They aren't edible and can't be crafted or smelted.

Dunno, I added them because rubenwardy requested them. Maybe they have a use in his food mod.

This would be even better if you were to support my marble mod (in which I have no time to continue hardly). Just think about marble coloums.
Check out my mod xtrablocks, has some different types of marble that you can build with or mine at different depths

Farming contains wheat + cotton. farming_plus comes with far more things grow (carrots, tomatoes, ...). You can use farming without farming_plus, but you can't use farming_plus without farming.

wool can be made from cotton but it isn't as good.

Ah, no. Wool and cotton are two completely separate materials. One is animal-based, one is plant-based. You can make clothing and other materials out of either. This whole issue would probably be solved by just renaming "wool" to "cloth".

Should we make a thread to discuss a farming mod that we can add to minetest_game? This mod is good, but it can become even better if we work together.

I downloaded this mod, but i can never get wet soil. I use my hoe on the dirt, and put water beside it, but it never turns wet, so I can't grow any crops. Any help?

It takes some time for the soil to get wet.

So, is there any way we could make an automated wheat farm if I had bulitin_items mod? like if i set water on it, would it come off the wheat and push it and make it harvested wheat?

no, it won't. you have to code it.
