Hello, this is the katana mod!

This mod adds (five) basic katana weapons. They're more for looks than anything else, as they have the same properties as normal weapons with a slightly different crafting recipe.

Good idea but with sounds by type of weapon would be great.
Think of adding "depends.txt" file in your ZIP.

Also, you really might want to add some screenshots. It helps a lot.

Edit: Suggestion. In your code, you use default:wood in the recipe. I think that group:wood would work better, because then, people can craft the katanas using junglewood or any other type of wood that has {wood=1} in it's groups section. It just makes everything easier.

Edit2: Oh, and it looks really nice. I like the textures and I will add this to my variator modpack. (with appropriate credit, of course.)

Alright, thanks for the feedback. I'll see if I can find some audio for the katanas (or create it). I'll also try to add a depends.txt into it.

Good catch! Since this is my first mod, I wasn't entirely sure what group:wood would do... Of course, I want my release to not be super bugged so I played it safe. I'm also completely fine with you adding it into your modpack with proper credit, I'd love to try variator out when it's done.

Yeah... Needs a lot of work. I am trying to make 32px textures for everything in it, but it is slow right now.
