[Mod] Glowdirt [1.0][glowdirt]

Hello,

This mod adds a glowing dirt block, which you can use for underground farming or just as light source.
To plant something on this block you need to prepare it first with a uranium hoe. When you use a normal hoe the glowdirt loses most of the glowing and gets radioactive dirt instead. But you can turn it back in glowdirt when you use a uranium hoe again.
Also if you mine a block with wet glowsoil it turns in radioactive dirt and you have to activate it with a uranium hoe again to get real glowdirt.
Otherwise it should be the same like normal farming, so you need some water nearby.
The uranium hoe is just useable on glowdirt, not for farming on normal dirt.

To make glowdirt you need uranium, which you find underground when you use technic mod.
Although you need a working grinder from the technic mod. You need to grind mossy cobblestone to mossy gravel, which is needed to craft a glowdirt block.
So you need dungeons on your map or a mod which adds a crafting recipe for mossy cobblestone.

The few textures included are little modified default textures.

Grinder recipe added:

Input: 1 Mossy Cobblestone
Output: 1 Mossy Gravel

Crafting recipes added:

Glowdirt:

________ Uranium
Uranium ___ Dirt _____ Uranium
_______ MossyGravel

Uranium Hoe:

Uranium Uranium
________ Stick
________ Stick

Craft gravel from mossy gravel:

Bucket w. water
Mossy Gravel

(you get the empty bucket back)

Mod dependencies:
technic
default
farming
bucket

Hello,

Your mod generate this error with technic

"technic" only works perfectly.

Hi balthazariv,
sorry I used an older version of technic mod, where all worked without errors.
But I made a fixed version, which should work now with newest version of technic mod, too. Please download the attachment to get my fixed version.

That wheat is contaminated by uranium. Won't eat it.

Is there a way to get this glowing effect with a torch or something not dangerous?

Hi, I think you should keep realistic, dude. A torch never has enough lightning strenght for this purpose, and second reason why this is completly unrealistic: The fire from the torch will burn the wheat immediately. So much about a torch not being dangerous.
So you should eat your healthy, slightly glowing wheat, or you better switch to grilled rats, when you still don't like it.
