This is a simple way to add snow to your Minetest world.

"Better Snow" (better_snow)

License: WTFPL

Dependencies:
default (Comes with minetest_game)
stairs? (Comes with minetest_game)
moreblocks?

Adds:
- Freezing and Melting
- Generation of snow and ice. (Above y=28)
- Snow and Ice stairs.
- A recipe to craft dirt with snow.
- A recipe to craft water using a torch and a snow block (torch is returned).

There are settings for each of these features to be disabled at the top of the init.lua file.

Thank you. I've had the mod for a while but never took the time to learn how to use github. I just added screenshots :).

Updated! You can now craft dirt with snow using snow and dirt. This will be even more useful when paramat's pinetree growing abm is merged.

Update: Increase the chance of melting and freezing to half. Also add a recipe to craft water from a torch and a snow block, the torch is returned.

Melting and freezing are temporarily broken until further notice.

Edit: Fixed melting and freezing. It's much simpler but it's the only way now that snow isn't leveled.

Thanks. I'm thinking of making dirt w/ snow drop snow too because you'll be wasting lots of snow if you have to dig it up.

I won't be changing/maintaining this mod. Plus I had a lot of repositories I wasn't using anymore.
