could you ever use param 2 to make them stay like they are (at a slant) even when the block below them is taken away?
If you can think it, you can make it.

hm.. at this moment if you take nodes under, the tile stay in the same form as it was

Does roof node are automatically climbable ? (no need to jump to get higher on roof node set...)

I think you need to place another block diagonally up from the first one so they join. I think you also need the improved raillike drawtye, from either the latest git master branch or from here.

yes im having an isue with your roof mod, i cant seem to get the roofs to go at a slant they either form a straight line witheachother or one will go benath the other, can you explain to my how you fix this? and yes i have latest version of minetest, and the flowers mod

Alright I got the laying of tiles proper, however still can't seem to destroy tiles. I've tried hand and mese pick and even after minutes of hitting it, nothing happens? For note this is with the glass one. Haven't tried the other tiles yet.

strange, they glasslike=1.0, im remove them by hands in few seconds.
pay attention, then removing select box must appeared, it remains at the bottom (as in rails case). probably need to fix it to full cube

Not sure why I'm having issue with it. Just compiled celeron55-minetest-0.4dev-20120311-0-g9eba6a3 and added roof mod and other mods for testing. Roof mod seems to work well except for the not being able to destroy them once placed.

I'm not overly sure what you are saying but if you mean make sure that I am hitting the little selection box thing for the roof tiles, yes I am and have.

yes it is just too old; this mod only works with a newer version of minetest with my raillike improvement patch applied; you have to compile it from source

hmm, for some reason with the latest unstable i can now no longer destroy blocks from any mod, is anyone else having this issue?
ubuntu would be #1, without unity

Yes, because the digging system changed (http://c55.me/minetest/wiki/doku.php?id=roadmap:digging_time_groups). Most mods will have to be changed.
