[Mod] Medicine [1.1] [medicine]

Medicine Mod by Andrey01
Version 1.1

Description
This is mod adds different medical objects (syringes, plasters, medical blocks and other things).
At the present here a few of things, but probably i will add more any blocks, items and also maybe some mobs.
Also in future i will repaint textures of syringes, thermometr, alcohol and other medical items.

Code: LGPLv2.1+, textures: CC BY-SA 3.0 Unported

This sounds like a cool idea.. Maybe you could go on to make it so that the player could get sick under certain circumstances, and use some of the medical supplies to help get better.

One thing I'd suggest though, is look into putting your mod on GitHub. If you need some help, there's lots of documentation or you can send me a PM. GitHub essentially makes it easier to keep track of the changes you make to your mod and allows others to easily contribute to the mod.

"The player could get sick under certain circumstances" - i don`t know how to do it, sorry.Anyway a player can restore lives self using syringes or tablets if he loses them.Is you meaning poison?

This is first Pre-Release of version 1.0
Changes:
1.Added full craft of some items
2.Added new items (plaster and cotton wool)
3.Renamed some items

My students are pretending to be Dr.'s now and have even started making a hospital. Maybe there are some afflictions they could get? Perhaps you and the guy who made this mod could work together or at least have the mods work together:

You can rename "hello-world" to medicine for your git repo if you'd like.

There is already a warddrobe mod, I wonder if it would be easier to use the materials from there and properly credit them? Unified_inventory has bags, but I'm wondering why would you need them for the medicine mod?

I don't have a lot of experience with Blender but if you don't want to use those mods I'm sure I could fine a texture and/or find someone that could help. Take care!

I have renamed "hello-world" to medicine.
Medical bag for storage of syringes and medical wardrobe for storage of medical objects in hospitals.
Can you do textures in Blender?Unfortunately i am only learning Blender and that`s why i don`t know of many things.

In my opinion if people want to put the supplies in cabinets then they can just use another mod for that like homedecor. I think the main interest is the actual medicine and its function. We could always "borrow" a cabinet, give credit, and reskin. Much easier to do that then reinvent the wheel so to speak.

you might be interested in studying spider poison and it's affects or sickness as used in Adventuretest by Brandon Reese.

One good use of this mod would be if damage could be split into different types such as:
  • injuries (such as wounds from fighting or falling),
  • poisoning (such as eating bad stuff or being biten),
  • sickness (such as inflicted by viruses or bacteria),
  • low on essential resources (such as starving or suffocating or maybe even freezing)
this could make healing aids more specific as at the moment something that heals damage heals all sort of damage regardless how it was inflicted.
