Carpets Mod!

This mod adds carpets to your game.

Dependancies:

WOOL.

License; LGPL.

Crafting:

Wool in the same way you make fences.

The ten colours used were:

White, black, red, pink, green, cyan, magenta, blue, orange and yellow.

Extract the zip and move the folder 'carpet' into /<minetest_dir>/games/minetest_game/mods

hmm...if it was possible to render a block as ''raillike'', but the contact-box be a nodebox like stairs, could you make diagonal carpet (if that feature ever gets released)?

Cool! I used the past sim_paint and few textures. You've made decorating easier :)

Do the carpets with the yellow edges automatically form? For example, if i made a 3x3. Would the middle one be completely red? Btw, is it just the screenshot or do the textures tile badly?

Yes, red wool carpets auto do it, only if they have a square or rectangular shape to them. (And not joined to another red carpet.)

Edit:
Could you make the crafts square? 2x2 or 3x3

3x3 for smart carpets (carpets with an edge)
and
2x2 for not so smart carpets

Nice mod. This is much easier than using wool blocks!

The screenshot is misleading for some people. Before I tried out your mod, I thought that the carpets were big by default, but my testing proved otherwise. I recommend that you tell/show them that the carpet sizes are customizable.
