Could you please upload this mod to another hosting site?
Sendspace does not allow me to download the file. There are NO DOWNLOAD LINKS on the page except ones that download a program called ILivid.

[Mod] Gloop Ores [1.1] [gloopores]

This is a re-post of the original Gloopores mod, since the original went missing a while back. You may also wish to consider Glooptest, which supersedes this mod.

[h]Gloop Ores v1.1[/h]

Gloopores supplies five minerals, some of which appear in desert stone (others, in regular stone): Akalin, Alatro, Arol, Talinite, and Kalite.

Akalin and Talinite can be smelted into ingots, which can then be used to make decorative blocks. Talinite blocks emit light.

Alatro can be smelted into ingots, which can either be made into decorative blocks, or used to make the usual four tools: shovels, picks, axes, and swords.

Arol can be smelted into ingots, which can be made into the usual tools as well.

Kalite can either be eaten to restore health, or used to make Kalite torches.

Alatro tools cut faster than the Arol ones, but also wear out faster.

Also, this mod causes coal and iron to be spawned in desert stone.

This version does not have the animated torches mentioned in Gloop's last post.

Dependencies: Nothing, just the game's default stuff.

(Which I got from http://mods.minetest.ru/gloopores/gloopores_1.1.zip)

License: WTFPL for the code, CC-BY-SA for the textures. All credit for this mod goes to GloopMaster.

It is a shame that the red and green ores can't be made into blocks as well. I really do think that they could make for some pretty blocks.

I still don't get that attitude of mod devs to remove their content; I liked gloopores.
I can't recall any other mod by GloopMaster since all his posts were blanked.
BTW: VanessaE this may be one of the few times where a repost is good.
+1 to you.

I know, right?

If and when I leave (which I will do if a hunger bar is ever implemented), I may post something about how I'll no longer maintain my plugins, and possibly say that I'll only host them for a little while longer (so if someone else doesn't host them, they may disappear), but I certainly won't wipe the topics and try to purge the internet of my code.

I understand not wanting to continue work on a game you no longer like. But if the code is already written, someone who still DOES play the game might as well get some enjoyment out of it.
