Description:
Coloured Long Sofas (3 blocks wide), Sofas (2 blocks wide), Armchairs, Coffee Tables and End Tables, loosely based on PilzAdam's beds mod. There are 9 colours in all: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, black, grey and white.

When you right-click on a long sofa, sofa or armchair, it transports you onto it, and replenishes your HP. Good if you've just escaped nasty mobs, didn't fare so well in battle, or just had a bad fall. The coffee table - which isn't coloured, just wooden - is pretty much just for decoration. It stands half a block high and nearly 2 blocks long. The end table is similar to the coffee table, though roughly half the length (i.e. only one block) and square.

Yeah, maybe I'll have a layer of wood along the base, and then the recipe could be 3 wool over 3 wood over 2 sticks, or

Hmm... I recall it was used in the original version of the beds mod, but not anymore.
We seriously need some kind of "registry" to find which recipes are used and which aren't.

Very nice! Sofas have been missing for some time. Can you add a fitting armchair as well? And a low table? The ones from 3dforniture and homedecor are too heigh for sofas.

Thanks for the input. I like the idea of a matching armchair (not to be confused with the one from 3dforniture/homedecor) and coffee table. Maybe name it all something like this:

Anyway, I'll work on some textures and new models today, and update this post when I have some more completed.

You could have usable Furniture..

But Will tell you I making :)

Likwid City It huge so huge it will take months working on it solo, but if you like make a building I will be happy to see you do so.

Likwid City was a big city use to be a, MCC Map but Some random ppl turn it into trash so I no longer visit it.

But Now I am making it for Minetest and this mod will do great, for a Furniture Store a Apartment etc.

so keep it coming...

and my map will be epic!

And there be alot real life looks and Feel.

to there be alot places to enjoy.

And it be so big that The Whole Real life Earth can stay there...

More Info will be post in maps later.

Oh plus Maybe some towns and even Walmart :)

And I waiting for 0.4.6 so I can have this one thing.

But hopefully 1.0.0 or 0.5.0 stuff make the city more better form having a setting make the time work real life time.

Cool ideas. I'll have a download ready when I feel that it's done. I still have to do a lot of textures (9 colours), and the models for the other items. Benches sound good - maybe I'll tackle those next.

Did you know way in the past like windows 95 Likwid was, used as a username alot...But I think you can't find about anymore...

But that not why I using Likwid.

Oh look up Likwid on Unban Directory I didn't post it I found out about it few weeks, ago.

But I have a cool idea for Minetest but it not possible yet.

I've finished the reds, and have changed the texture of the coffee table to more of a finished wood:

Only 7 colours to go!

Nope, it was my idea in post #3, but I changed it to wood slabs based on the look of the furniture, and because as kaeza mentioned, my idea had already been used in an old beds mod.

Thanks for the encouraging words, folks. I've finished the textures for the orange sofas and armchairs, created a matching end table for the coffee table, and changed all the wood textures on the sofas/armchairs to also match the look of the coffee table. The default wood just seemed too "unfinished" looking in comparison - needed a coat of varnish.

Thanks. Yes, you can place objects on it - it's also possible to walk over coffee/end tables smoothly (i.e. without jumping), since they're 1/2 block tall.

I've finally finished making all the textures for this mod, and posted it to github - check out the first post.

As I mentioned earlier, I might work on some benches (and other outdoor furniture) as was suggested. I'll create a new forum topic for that when I've got something.
