I think that you are not getting what a seed is. A seed is in reference to a world seed. When you make a world, you type in the seed, which will change the generation of the world. So, if I type in 123456789 as my seed, the generated world will be different than if I had typed in 987654321. All the seed does, is change the way the world is generated.

So, if you get what I was saying, then you'd get this. There is no specific seed. You just type in a random bunch of characters, and Minetest will figure it out from there.

Or you can leave it blank, and Minetest will choose a random one.

The seed you choose for a map affects all the terrain generation. Without going too much into technical details, the seed is a base number that the game uses to calculate what to generate where (dirt, sand, etc). Leaving it blank generates a random world, but entering the same seed for two maps generates (or should generate) identical worlds.

Yeah Minetest has a endless Possibility on the Seeds. But there some seeds that is awesome with The default MG.

So I was thinking here.. Why don't minetest Has a Seed Sharing System? Or A topic Well there is one but with very, little Posts and active.

So I'm going post a topic for all the seeds I do lately.

In fact I have a seed right now like anyone check out in 0.4.10.

Must be Unmodded MG effect.

Seed: _MinetestSoHuge_
Mapgen Build: Default
Mapgen Option: V6
Screenshots: (Be posted later on the topic I was talking about making)

But anyway I might create a minetest-seeds Site and use a Forum for it to work.

But I will first look into the idea Of the seeds count.
I'm a Transgender no shame about it.
I prefer to be considered as a "Girl/Lady/Miss/Madam/Female" for now on.

Minetest uses random() when you input a non-numberic value. Use F5 to see the seed of your world.

I think you should test a Lua mapgen like MG or watershed. They give the world a new feeling.
