Just Do It Parkour

by Minetest Sam » Mon Nov 16, 2015 13:00

Guys, I am new to minetest, so please bare with me if this map doesn't works than tell me.
This is my first ever minetest map and i want to develop the community in portion of maps as in the minetest forums there are not a lot of maps based on parkour unlike minecraft

Download:-
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6dienda7d10wo ... t.zip?dl=0

If you want more than please do tell me.
Important:- You need to /sethome from where you start the map.
The base is near the spawn just need to find it.
You will start from where you see a big yellow color arrow pointing.
So,what are you waiting for 'Just Do It'

Nice to see you here on the MT forums!

Tip: If you make a folder called "worldmods" in the world folder, then paste the mods into there, people won't need to download everything themselves. Also, if you're using a recent version of MT, sprinting is in vanilla (hold down your 'use' key while fast_move is turned on.)
I do not care.

I also played your map on the lucky blocks was pretty nice and I recommend you to make server on it.
That would be awesome.

*wink*. Thanks. I'm not really into servers that much (tried once, firewall blocked me), and making it auto-reset when people are done would be pretty difficult. Perhaps I could do it with mesecons. I might look further into it though. Worldedit + command blocks = auto-resetting map. I'm working on a "house is burning" map, similar to the MC ones.
I do not care.

I just read the whole post again....ah, the wise words of Shia LeBuff.

EDIT: I just downloaded it, don't include a space between "world" and "mods".
I do not care.

I just downloaded this, and, wow, this is difficult. I really love this! You really should build this on a server, so that people don't have to download it. (Perhaps....linuxgaming or VanessaE's creative)
I do not care.

I meant building it on an existing server :). The two I named are real, running servers!

Minetest Sam : you can still save your maps as schematics with World Edit and import them from a map to another :)
(But that would require the admin approval, and maybe a reboot of the server just after it, because of world edit limitations)
