[Minigame][Survival] Burning house - escape the lava!

by wilkgr76 » Wed Apr 27, 2016 01:09

You're in a 100% wooden house. And a griefer just dumped lava on top. Who can last longest?

This minigame can be played in singleplayer, or in multiplayer with a maximum of two players.

While there is a reset button, it doesn't work that well as not all of the fire is removed.

RULES:
  • You have to stay in the house. You are disqualified if you go outside.
  • There are chests with stuff in them. You may use those things.
  • Normal sponges only absorb water. You will need the iron sponges (which are in chests)
  • Once placed, you may not pick up the sponges
  • Make your own rules and follow them!

And I don't mind you boasting, so go ahead and show off and tell us how long you survived!

To get rid of the fire you could use mesecons + worldedit to remove the fire. (command block + WE commands)

True...I'm already using worldedit to reset the house...yeah! Once I've done that, I'll also add the screenshots.
I do not care.

you know, this would easily be solved with a simple mod in the worldmods folder...

Had a go, with the additional rule of not being allowed to break any nodes (including fire).

Final time : infinite...

I would suggest not giving the player iron sponges, or at least make them flammable.
It only takes two and a 4 high area of the house to easily guarantee the infinite time.

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
s
p             p - player
p             s - sponge
s

Thanks :)

The iron sponges are supposed to be well hidden. IIRC, the sponges only absorb lava once placed, but, yeah. Will review and upload new version later :)
I do not care.
