I've downloaded your map. The stations just look awesome.
I am currently writing on a mod:

I added a subway train this evening, and edited the original Karsthafen map for trains to drive in there. It just looks so cool to see an actual subway in the tunnel!.
You are free to build your map using this mod. I won't change much on the rails or the train system, the focus will be laid on signals, mesecons, puffers and the like next.
Sadly, almost every station you built is too small, since my trains need a 3x3 tunnel and an appropriate platform. Using my mod, you would need to re-construct everything.
But just as an idea...

The mod is very great. Probably I'll build longer platforms.

You need to, and you need MUCH wider tunnels (3x3), and that's the problem IMO.
Thanks to mbb, I now have very nice models.ATM I have no time to work on the mod, but wgen i find time again there will be very cool trains of all types...

The subway trains now look nice and automation is awesome.
I have trams on my roadmap. Also I can do the subway automation once you rebuilt the stations.
(if you ever do this)

I'm working with this mod now. But I need more time to build a new subway.
I want to post the result as fast as I can.

a new version with Orwells mod will be released soon.
I had to rebuild all stations, so it took a long time
