Bucket World

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the entire built up area of Bucket World in one tiny little file for you to play with.

This post is to highlight one of our goals here. This file is actually one of my working backups. It was all built using Minetest 0.4.15, the server it’s running on is Minetest 0.4.16. But what about Backwards Compatibility?

There’s a picture of it below in Minetest 0.4.13, took about 15 minutes to set up.

As with all schems, you need to “discover” the area you want to place it in first, Minetest doesn’t create all the caves and trees in the world at once, it creates them when you move over an area for the first time.

If you have already placed your schem then move over an area for the first time your schem will get trees and caves and dungeons generated in it.

Bucket World needs an area 1800 nodes east-west and 1100 nodes north-south.

The schem is 3 nodes deep, dig down 2 and mark the 3rd as Position 1.

If you want the countryside around it to fit properly use FlatMap mapgen with lakes enabled, seed 6.
Position1: -1180, 6, -459

Mods Required:
castles
moreblocks
stoneworks

Cheers,

Andrew.
