Basically you place the ruler:tool node and punch it, upon punch it will form lines in every direction with cloud-like nodes that are buildable to. Then, you use /clearhelpers to get rid of those nodes once you've got your general outline down :-)

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.

Code: Select all: /giveme ruler:tool /clearhelpers to get rid of the cloudlike nodes /keephelpers to resume using the ruler

Im happy with the helper texture but im using default mese for the ruler tool and if anyone can come up with a better texture ill gladly credit it :-)

Update posted: now using cloud texture for the tool itself; it expands after place node rather than on punch and it replaces itself with a helper node so you can clear the whole thing more easily.
