[Mod] Unified Inventory [1.0] [unified_inventory]

Complete overhaul of player's inventory
Credits to creators of separate parts i used there:
Cornernote, Jeija, PilzAdam and others.

License: GPLv3+

Please make sure you dont have any previous versions of the mod installed.
No need to rename anything, just download and unpack.

Installation: download zip, unpack it into your mods directory.

IMPORTANT: you need to run Minetest 0.4.4 at least.

Please post any ideas you may have to help improve it.

I can't get it to work :(, maybe it's because I have 0.4.4-minetest-ru, realize you have 0.4.4 -dev, if this is the case, please tell me how to get your version :)

How do I install it? I download it, then where do I place it?

When installing this mod, the name of its folder must be unified_inventory (you must take out -master and put in the _.) After doing so myself while using the latest build that was just mentioned, I got the mod to work.

I tested the mod and found the refill, trash, and search functions to work. The arrow buttons, however, can't move the creative inventory forward. They just reload page one of it.

I don't know what "irc" is.. if its like a chat, we could do that on skype.

For a start IRC is internet chat before your "spyware" AIM, MSN, Skype, et al.

Nice work RealBadAngel it would be nice to see some sort of ajax/autosearch type feature then that search button removed and the search bar made bigger ^_^.

Can't wait for the crafting guide :D

Something else which would be quite nice is if you could make it so the "set day" "set night" buttons are shown to people only with the settime privilege (in both creative and survival).

Anyway look forward to futher updates keep up the good work, hopefully this will get merged upstream at some point.

P.S. What mod is it that gives you all them different type of wooden nodes?

Nice ^_^ (will you have the set time buttons shown on survival too? it would be nice :D...pretty please.....I'm sometimes too lazy to type it out haha)

Thanks for the name of that other Mod looks good might have to try it, Anyway keep up the good work mate, oh also will you be releasing your Technic mod again? I didn't get chance to try it but it looked awesome.

EDIT: Oh just spotted you have linked the Technic mod again ^_^ thanks I will give this a try too.

Hallo RealBadAngel. Tested your mod - it is awesome, but there are some mods which are incompatible with it (worldedit gui, specialities). As far as i can see, you used inventory plus as basement for your mod. Could you give us any stub, which will make these mods working?

It would be very helpful to rename the mod in the code unifiedinventory instead of unified_inventory for newer users

yeah, i used there several mods made by cornerstone
i will check worldedit and specialities and try to find the way for them to work with UI
maybe i will add possibility to register new buttons (tabs) for them?

meanwhile new release is almost ready, working now on craft guide

Updated the mod, it has now very different structure, so before installing new version, please make sure you have deleted old one.
Almost all is done, need to work on just very specific cases of crafting recipes.

hello
i download the mod from http://realbadangel.pl/unified_inventory.zip today (12.10.2012)

but when i run the mod i dont see the reffill or trash and what ever i try i cant get things from the inventory (left side) to my inventory (of player)

the rest is working fine, at least i can see the recipie's and what blocks are defined in the game thru mods..

is there anything wrong with the first link so that i have to use the other link ??
