Download

I aim to craft this game into something unheard of by the minetest community, how am I doing so far?

Version 1.05 Release - Atomic Axe and Adjustable Nukes

-grass drops pumpkin seeds with a rarity of 20
-disabled inner stairs from dropping normal stairs (completely remove autostairify) Will be updated later when can fully focus on it
-a steel block gives back 9 steel ingots in the crafting bench
-you cannot place papyrus on anything but grass, dirt, dry soil, wet soil, and sand. You can't place it on desert sand because it is nutrient exempt and would kill the plant within hours (game time).
-weeds now remove self if soil below them turns to dirt
-added in a wrench
-added in 3 types of modes for the nuke, adjustable with the wrench: mining mode 1, mining mode 2, and wasteland mode.
{ Wasteland mode will just abbliverate everything in a 50 block radius, be careful with this.
{ Mining mode 1 is like a normal nuke, it has a radius of 20, and will only drop ores
{ Mining mode 2 is a straight down miner, it has a radius of 5 and will mine down 100 blocks dropping ores
NOTE: Nukes will soon turn into an entity, to get rid of the multiple nuke in 1 place bug.
-shortened tnt timer
-gave wrench a crafting recipe

-added in jeija's timber mod
-overhauled timber mod into treecapitator standings
-overpower the treecapitator mod into a whole other beast
-add an OP weapon based off the axe
-named it the atomic axe, and created a new mod called "utility_tools" for tools like this
-gave the atomic axe a rediculous crafting recipe to balance it out (http://i.imgur.com/XoVrS.png)
-fixed a bug where you could hit leaves off of trees with atomic axe


TODO:
-make grass drop seeds
-add some crunchy delicious sounds
-add in placenode lua sound api
-fix desert ore mod in windows
-atomic shovel, atomic pickaxe, atomic hoe

yes, but that is balanced, it is tuned so they all work together

1.17 is out, view the changelog of 1.17 and 0.58 to see stuff that was changed

UPDATE! Read the changelog of 1.62 and 1.91 for details!!

REAL UPDATE: if you add "super_flat = true" without quotes into your minetest.conf you generate a fast, superflat world

nice games, I really enjoyed it.
suggestion:
  1. When cooking stick it still make default torch, it'll better if it make prelit torch.
  2. How about player need to lit bonfire/furnace before cooking something?

ps : i really like the water textures.

i was thinking about that, maybe, if someone can make a good 3d torch i'll replace torch_plus (it has to use misa's torch texture)

AND UPDATE! Read 1.93's changelog!!

MAIN UPDATE: Bedrock is COMPLETELY indestructible and now players cannot fall out of superflat worlds!

MAIN UPDATE: Experience is added into the gamemode, you get experience from mining ores (NOTE: The ores in technic do not give xp yet, that will be out in the next update)

UPDATED TO 3.10!!! READ 3.10 and 3.12 CHANGELOG FOR INFO!

MAIN UPDATE: Creative mod and superflat is massively overhauled, now item placement is infinite in creative mode, and nothing generates but the superflat world!

If you would like to try creative mode, add creative=true into your minetest.conf!

3.57 UPDATE! Elevators added in to the game!

How to use the elevator:
1.) Place a button on a block
2.) place a sign on the other side of the block
3.) on the second line of the sign put [up] or [down] on the sign depending on which way you want to go (This completes the elevator "module")
4.) Create a second elevator "module" 3-10 blocks above the one you just made (This will be adjustable in the next update)
5.) Elevator around your buildings

this is only recommended for high end computers. Lol.

i need details. computer specs? what minetest version? what operating system? are you on 0.4.3? this is for the latest github.

This is what mine looks like when it hasnt loaded the resion yet.

Might just be processing the after_generated(). What happens if you leave it for 10 mins?

Computer specs: i'm afraid i don't know, but the computer is quite old and slow. version: 0.4.3-25cf375(sfan5's latest minetest build) OS: Windows XP SP3. I will try this on the other nightly package(not by sfan5) and see if this fixes it. If no-one has compiled the version it needs, then i can't use it because neither can i. Before, this has happened when i have a game without a "default" mod, but this has it so i don't know why. EDIT: not working with 0.4.3-4a11323-meta_set_nodedef either.

I have just tried to use worldedit to place dirt_with_grass, but only the selection box of the grass would load, not the texture, and it wasn't diggable. I also couldn't get any inventory except for crafting with inventory_plus, bags, armor and PilzAdam's minetest_game creative mode, although this might just be incompatibilities. I click the "Back" button and get no response.

Sfan5's Windows builds work. :)

Then who knows, all i know is it works on linux github build, it's stable, it's fast with a dual core pc, and it's fun. That's all i'm worried about.

it gives me something weird. quite alike with qwrwed problem. when game loads i'm in the middle of nothing. i see only clouds and i don't even see my hand. and then i realize i have freemove enabled. when i disable it screens turn grey and then slowly fades to black.
