[Game] Minetest+ [minetest_plus] [0.9.1]

Minetest+ aims to be a more developed (or complete) game with more features, blocks and a lot tweaking everywhere.

New items:
- Charcoal (by putting a tree log in furnace) (1 tree -> 1 charcoal)
- Mese and Diamond hoe
- glass, obsidian glass and trap doors
- Armor (mainly by stu's mod)
- Conifer (Tree, Planks)

Changed Appearance:
- New Textures for almost everything
- Cactus have spikes
- Water has a better color and brightness (under water aswell)
- fancy HUD, Invenotries
- Mese is glowing

Changed Behavior:
- Flowing water makes sound
- Lava makes sound and spawns randomly particles
- Cactus damages players
- You get 4 Stonebricks instead 1 Stonebrick
- Torches can also be crafted with charcoal
- Leaves don't decay when placed by player
- chests drop stuff when digged
- grass and flowers are digged immediate
- grass only drops seeds, not itself
- player damage sound
- Dirt with snow turns into Dirt with Grass when snow is digged
- Doors have sounds
- Torches can't be placed ceiling
- Items get removed after 30 minutes

Other changes:
- Visible wielded 3d blocks (experimental)
- reworked furnaces (have flames which size shows left burntime, progress for each item)
- tweaked physics
- Jungles (using paramat's rainforrest mod)
- drowning damages player more
- Rework of inventorys, add new creative inventory
- Slow down fire a bit
- Tweak digging times of some tools
- Dropped items also rotate and 3D
- Removed nyancat, and old/unused stuff)

Installation:
Unzip and copy it to your "games/" folder in the Minetest directory.

Minetest Version:

See README.txt of each mod (mostly WTFPL, CC BY-SA and LGPL).

Suggestions:
- Add your crafting mod
- Make flowing water push items/items detroyed in lava (RealBadAngel has something like that in technic)
- Add a progress bar for furnaces (see my itest mod for that)

- No, the Crafting mod is aiming to add a MC feature, this game aims to be an improved Minetest game.
- Nice idea, may be added
- Furnaces will be reworked in future versions

My builtin_items mod has the water push and lava destroy features.

Version 0.2 released!

Changelog:
- Grass and flowers can be digged immediately
- Grass is spawned slightly more than before
- Added damage sound (needs lastest builds, so later than 0.4.7)
- tweaked textures of grass, water and papyrus

I agree, as well as the doors mod.
EDIT: and builtin_item should be in builtin, but using groups instead of hard-coded liquids names.

I played this gamemode for a solid 13 hours.

1) I agree that this is far better than minetest_game.

2) Not only can I enjoy this, but everything seems improved, finished and much higher quality.

3) The hand I welcome mostly, it's because we just have this non-blocky fist punch. It is just strange and wrong.

I feel that it would truly be a wonderful thing if everything in Minetest+ found its way into the base game one day. Of course, you will want to update the sounds and keep up-to-date with the current version of Minetest.

13 hours, wow! You are the No.1 player of Minetest+ (i guess) ;)

I run Minetest on a spoon.
Yes, i know that it is faster. But you won't notice the difference except you are running Minetest on a toaster ;)

I still think that the carts are a little buggy. I hope that they will get more fixes and end up in the base game in the future.
