New Nodes?

by BlauerEisRegen » Wed Aug 28, 2013 19:09

Hello!,
I have a simple question: Are there any nodes which will be implemented in the game for the future?
Or are there any ideas in the minds of the developers?
Thanks for your answers and sorry for my english!

Getting a node into official is very hard. The stable game features only the most stable and least resourse laggy nodes (citation needed). If you need more nodes check out the mods section.

0.4.8 AFAIK has a new map-generator with better mountains (And some other stuff too) and is less resource hungry. Check out the forum for more info.
7:42 PM - Bauglio: I think if you go to staples you could steal firmware from a fax machine that would run better than win10 does on any platform
7:42 PM - Bauglio: so fudge the stable build
7:43 PM - Bauglio: get the staple build

It took a huge discussion for us to add obsidian. But I do think we need more nodes in vanilla minetest.
Coding;
1X coding
3X debugging
12X tweaking to be just right
