A way to lay down a field of blocks?

by Tx_RushFan » Tue Dec 10, 2013 17:03

Hey all,

Is there a way to lay down a field of blocks, like a 10 blocks wide by 10 blocks long field of blocks? I only ask as I want to build something quite large. Think flat planes of blocks in the hundreds of thousands large. I'm a stickler for doing life size and for detail, what can I say?

I'll leave this here: https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=572

Next time, search the forums manually first, please =)
7:42 PM - Bauglio: I think if you go to staples you could steal firmware from a fax machine that would run better than win10 does on any platform
7:42 PM - Bauglio: so fudge the stable build
7:43 PM - Bauglio: get the staple build

I did search. I searched for "more than one block" and "field of blocks." I use Control+F to find text within search results and nothing came up. Sometimes posting your specific question and getting a specific answer is faster and more efficient though. Thanks for the help.

It won't even run. The /grant worldedit does nothing but tell me it an invalid command.

It would help if you only posted in one place about your problems. It's very annoying reading the same post in four different threads. Look for the answer in one of the other threads as I have answered it and so has someone else on a different thread.

I do that to maximize my chances of getting an answer. Some of this stuff isn't that hard to learn. I finally, through trial and error, got it working.

I search a lot and find little. Digging through 20 posts and not getting the answer is a path I've followed too many times. Search engines are not as reliable as you make them sound to be. Sometimes yes, but often times not.
