minetest and minecraft are both clones technically. but i doubt anyone here is explicitly going out of their way to reproduce every MC feature. although it can be sometimes irritating when people who dont wanna buy MC complain that this game lacks features MC has.

mauvebic wrote:You cant have too much stuff in minetest_game, the idea is still to let people install whatever mods they want, but the more common ones used by several other mods are more likely to make it in. Though to be honest i delete a fair bit of default stuff when i recompile. which is why im glad mobs are only coming back in lua form lol
