Where to build, where to build...


Earlier today, not paying attention, and being distracted... I deleted the world I was building my enormous castle in :(
It also had a few other structures I put a lot of time into... so..., starting over.
I'm glad I made a copy of the map_meta.txt for future use ; )

The new map I will rebuild all of the structures I mistakenly deleted...
I have the mountain ranges (as seen in the upper-right, in the larger section) with nice, large, flat lowlands to build on.
I set the lowlands 12 nodes above water level... just right. (for me)
I wish I new more about setting maps up because I would have loved to have some river-like channels (like in V7) running through the lowlands..., and larger bodies of water...
Oh well, I will get it just right eventually...

You can increase the area of lakes by editing the 'lake_threshold' parameter:

You can also adjust area of hills and hill height and lake depth.
Mgflat is looking good in your screenshots.

That car colour, from RGB it is blue with slightly more red than green, so blue with a hint of violet.
