What is modstore_download_url?

I was poking around the minetest.conf file while setting up a server (will be public in the future) and noticed the settings modstore_download_url and modstore_listmods_url and modstore_details_url and have no idea what they are for. I tried searching and came up empty handed. I'm assuming maybe it's similar to remote_media but for mods? If not, such a feature would be great (having the server tell connecting players were to fetch the mods instead of downloading from the server itself). So my question is, what are the above for and is there such a feature as off server mod hosting (similar to the remote_media option)?

As far as I know the mod store is broken and a good solution hasn't been worked out yet. The mod store is for installing mods on your local machine. Mods that are on a server, reside on the server and all code is run server side. The connected clients never download the mods as the code is run for them. One day we may have client side mods to some extent. But at this time it is not the case.

lol Thank you for the response, it clears up a couple questions I had. As for the nick and join date, I had apparently joined some time back and forgot I did. I tried to create a new account but was told my email was already in use, so searched my email and sure enough found I had registered this nick. So, decided to reuse it. Still not entirely sure what I was thinking when coming up with the nick lol.
