i had a idea that we make game modes for minetest so it like a mod pack all in 1.
if you don't understand what i'm saying, ill try to explain better.
so minetest comes with 2 game modes already minetest_game and minimal so we all make 1 like that and it will be like a mod pack because u can insert mods into the game mode already

Good idea, but we all can't be in charge of decisions. Gets too political. Who would have final say on decisions?

Maybe I'm not understanding something, but you can already do this. See DesDes on the Maps section. When you install it, it becomes a new game within minetest, and all the mods and textures are there when you create a "DesDes" world.

I think individuals could create games, and we could all vote on the best one.

i think individuals could make them, and we can all comment on what we would like to see improved.

There is soooo many mods these days. I am working on a game to combine over 100 mods and still be (reasonably) fast and very stable:

Once its a little more tested I'll put an official forum topic up. Problem is with so many mods there is a lot to test.
