A quick reflexion, why woodsword and stonesword exists? Did you ever try to cut something with a woodsword or a stonesword, i think it's difficult.

Woodsword => In nature, sticks can be used like a weapons
Stonesword => An hammer is propably better with stone, or nothing because we can attack with the stoneaxe.

And woodaxes, try to cut trees to get wood with wood ... we need a "derpaxe"

Behind this stupid topic in fact it's just a will to differentiate minetest and minecraft. :)

It's a very good idea! ahahah

EDIT: I have a gift for you Image

Seriously, it's just simple ideas to try to differentiate two similar games, details count too.

Thats really awesome, we could make a texture pack together.

Great idea but GIMMEMAMONEY! before. I'd love to work on a futuristic pack together but i prefer not based on a proprietary licence like Halo or MK.

Now i'm already work on a simple texture pack in 16x16 based on Ardorcraft exept items and monsters. It's not finish but here it is the beginning:

When it will be finish we can start to work together if you want. :)

Yeah, the best I can draw are outlines, (elder gods be damned) placeholders.

I was thinking of a pencil and paper texture pack, but I gave up on that idea.

I think a properly done pencil and paper texture pack would be kinda neat.

I actually never understood...how the hell a wooden pickaxe works...

The way I see it, as soon as you hit a stone with a wooden pick, I assume the edge of the wood would just flatten and splinter...

I once thought a dirt pickaxe would work, but it would only have about 1 use.
