I'm making some landscaping on my map and I keep noticing that sometimes the grass simply disappears over large areas. It seems its caused by the removal of a given block.

The grass eventually grows back but there are areas where it simply does not regrow; the dirt remains bare, as if it had been recently placed or uncovered.

As anyone ever came across this behaviour?

I've noticed this many times. I've seen nothing that would explain it.

I dont play stable so I wouldnt know, although this is fixed in 0.4-dev
