How to compile in Visual Studio?

How do I compile the ALL_BUILD project? I get up to the part in the readme.txt where it asks me to open the solution.sl - I have no idea where it is and how to compile. A step by step would be nice.

I figured some stuff out - now I get this when building ALL_BUILD:
Build: 3 succeeded, 1 failed, 3 up-to-date, 0 skipped
