Every time I try this I only get a world full of stone. Is it incomplete?

The default game (minetest_game) does not contain any biome definition for it. There are some subgames that make use of the biome API to create a working world (for example, nodetopia).

It is still a "work in progress".

Get the mod paragenv7. It adds grass and trees for v7 map generation an it's good...your welcome

just remember to take it out of your mods folder if you create a v6 map
