Since it is in the English language, that would be a right thing to do.
But since it isn't my native one, I make a stress on the second syllable. More convenient to me in terms of "energy saving".
However sometimes I pronounce it like two separate words: "me-ce" ("e" like in "America", "c" like in "celebrity")
