FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Does minetest work with a USB controller? If so which ones do you guys use? I want to help my kid play the game, I think a joystick or controller would be easier to use.

The USB controller must emulate a mouse movement, then it would work.

Currenty, there is no implementation of joysticks or other input device. (Except of touchscreen, mouse and keyboard)

You can use it with something like xpadder for Windows. I have used it with a cheap controller and a PS3 comtroller

I use JoyToKey....It is the best emulator :D
