I've been trying various things in local server mode before transporting them to a player server. This time ... fountains.


Same fountain in Sandstone and Stone textures (0.3.1)


Same fountains at night. The only change is I added spot lights (torches) under the water.

Looks great. I love it. Could you also post a quick tutorial on how-to? Thanks for posting.

Not that hard. Just build four 1 by X towers (X = height you want) on a 3x3 grid.

X=Material you want to use
0=Nothing
G = Glass

Once you get the height you want, put the glass 1 block below the top in the middle of it all. Then use a bucket of water and put the water on top of the glass. Then put torches on the sides of the glass.

You can fence it off how ever you like.

The torches inside have to be filled with dirt first then remove one dirt plant ToRch.

I made tunnels under sand with water. And I have made numerous fountains. As well as a few cobble and obsidian generators. And as far as your challenges, GAME ON!
