FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

I am running Minetest 0.4.9. I have followed the instructions and unpacked the MODs in the created MOD folder. The game sees them but, gives me this error message when I try to load the game.

Any suggestions?

rename the modpack folder to something that doesnt have numbers or hyphens in the name and see if that helps.

You might also want to try a newer release of minetest as well;

Yes, the problem is the mod directory name.
Napiophelios said it correctly: Rename "animals modpack-2.4.2" to "animals" and re-enable it in the mod manager.

To make sure everything runs fine, update to version 0.4.13, it contains some new modding commands.
