FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Howdy ;)

I was chatting with some friends about various mapgen mods (like Watershed, Yappy, Skylands, etc...) and the suggestion came up that it would be nice if the mapgen mods were located in their own subforum if nothing more than to make them easier to locate and read about.

+1 This would make searching a lot more easier, as the mapgen mods are way different from other mods that add, as an example, mobs or blocks.

A bit more structure for all these diffrent types of mods out there would be good. A special subforum for mapgen mods might really be a good idea.

What about caverealms, which is mapgen related but only underground? Also, what about subgames like Hades and Wasteland which make modifications to the mapgen, but are not mods?

How about just a Mapgen Subforum, not related to mods, but mapgen as a whole.
